Dry Run Records exists in that narrow space between a concept and a functioning operation, which seems fitting given our roster of one. The Smoke Tests have built something genuinely disorienting out of devotional drone and ringtone core—those Nokia hymns hit with the weight of actual prayer, which is either profound or deeply funny depending on your relationship with your old phone. We're not sure yet which it is. We're still testing.
