Fountain Records exists in the gap between what people say they want from music and what they actually need. We signed Per My Last Email because their particular brand of cumbia-soaked emo felt less like a novelty and more like an inevitability — the sound of someone genuinely wrestling with heartbreak while their feet won't stop moving. It's a small roster so far, but then again, most good things start with one song that makes you question your life choices on the dance floor.
